was 18 inches, his shoe size was a tiny 5 1/2.
He weighed between 190 to 230 pounds depending
on his offseason.

He was called "Freaky" and was told "I'll try not to
step on your tail" as a youth.
He made the bigs at age 23 for the New York Giants.
He earned "Most Valuable Player" for the NL in
1930 as a Chicago Cub.
In five years, he fouled out of baseball and hit
the skids. By 1948 he died impoverished
three months after The Babe and to much less fanfare.
He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in
1979.
He still holds the all-time record for most RBIs
at 191.
